An in depth but light hearted account of my journey through Chemotherapy. It is informative for those who care about me but also for those who are experiencing or about to experience the treatment.

Back from the Dead 4
Welcome to my Blog! I had given thought to a blog before but certainly had a different content in mind. Anyway, I thought this would be a better way for my friends to keep up with my progress versus me sending an update email to 50 or so people, I'm sure a lot of you don't really want a blow by blow of my treatment and progress so this way you can just check in from time to time at your own leisure.
Well the news is good! My bone scans showed a reduction of the tumors in my bones and my PSA dropped 40 points (great but still at 327)! My last treatment was on Tuesday Feb. 9 (my 4th) and as in the past the dreaded NADAR (that's the time when all the blood counts are way down and you feel like Mac the truck just ran over you)hit me on Saturday only this time it wasn't so bad, I seemed to have energy. I actually put on my jeans and did a little work around the house vs. the past when I would lay on the couch in my sweats for 3 days. I even got concerned that maybe it didn't take (paranoid).
I think the difference is I was prepared, I knew what to expect and how to remedy the things that made me uncomfortable in the past. Anyway, Good luck to all and stay tuned. Bob
