An in depth but light hearted account of my journey through Chemotherapy. It is informative for those who care about me but also for those who are experiencing or about to experience the treatment.

Amazing
There is nothing about chemotherapy that is positive. Some of you have experienced it and know. But it ain't your Grandfathers' chemo either. It's grueling for sure, including all that goes on in between but they have come a long way.
The cancer card is not one I ever pull......on purpose anyway, seems like bad Carma; but it is amazing how peoples' demeanor changes if you tell them about it. All of a sudden the Stern banker you have dealt with for years will grab your arm and for "One Brief and Shining Moment" they are humans......reaching out. Not to pick on bankers.
One of my biggest challenges is eating solid food. I like good food as much as the nest guy but at the end of the day all I want is to not be hungry. I've often said if I could take a pill for food for the day that would work for me. If there is not enough for everyone at dinner.......I'll take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!!
In other words; I eat to live; I don't live to eat, so it is a bigger challenge to get excited about food that taste pretty bad anyway.
Long story short....it's tough but it's not kicking my ass! And I've seen a lot of positive energy as a result of this!!!!
