Update # 11 (has it really been 11?)

Update My PSA is down from 71.1to 61.1.......I wanted more but it is moving in the right direction. He also reiterated that he is amazed with my tolerance and that it is working, my PSA is down 84% from where it was when I started.......I have passed any other patient they have had by at least 3 treatments. Most are unable to tolerate the drug for this long before the side effects become intolerable. As I’ve said all along….I can beat this!!! In my efforts to get a reprieve from the treatment I made a mad dash for the door but one of the more shall we say stout nurses tripped me and put me in a headlock before I could make it!.....Not really :>)……It came to me over the weekend that since I have bone/cit scans at the end of the month there no way for a break until the Doc sees those……he has said in the past that those are more important than the PSA! And….....once I stop taking this drug (Taxotere) I can’t start back so as long as I keep hanging in there…......maybe I will get to 0 after all! By the way……I had a Great Weekend!
