Back From The ??? 13

I’ve heard from several people that think Back From the Dead is too negative……..I changed it once…..Back From the Battle?...Back from the Obis?.....It sure as hell ain’t “Back From The Picnic!”.…….I’ll think of something.

Fortunately I have friends and family that allows me a change of scenery during NADIR and I'm sure that helps me with the process…..If I’m in a wad on the couch….. it makes for a longer weekend....But then, football is back!

it's only day 7 from treatment but at this point in the cycle my feeling …is..good!…..I slacked off on my food a little bit…but seemed to make up for it with wine.  Speaking of food….I find there is a big difference between appetite and hunger...I've been hungry since January but don’t have the appetite to eat what I need to eat.

“Have you ever been hungry Mamn?.........I don’t mean ready for supper....so hungry your stomach and back meet.....oh...you’d eat that dog and fight to suck the bones!" (Paul Newman on a stagecoach in Hombre’).

This past weekend I had to revert to the old shrimp method (method is old, not the shrimp) whereby I cut up small pieces of boiled shrimp and put it past my nasty tasting tongue and swallow it like a bird.  It works.

I spoke to a young man over the weekend that is just going into a similar regime as me, we had a wonderful talk.……sharing my insight and knowledge of this process to others is something I intend to do whenever possible…..It’s so good for me as well…….

Keep those Prayers and Spiritual thoughts coming my way! I do so appreciate it!  Bob

  2. How about: "This is my gig, I'll call it whatever the fuck I want"?

  3. This is the pits!!! You are there!! That is not negative, that is your approach on life. I think that people that told you that, stinks! Why do you call them friends????? Anyway, young man, you are there, be in their faces if you have changed your life.
    Many prayers still coming.
