Well I’m in the chemo room “Gettin’ the Goods”! My PSA has risen 18 points since Thursday so it's definitely time to get back to work! The scans were pretty much stabilized
It’s amazing how we adapt! I have a lap top and an IPhone; I’m listening and watching the news via a headset. The guy next to me has an IPad, a phone and several folders and he's just typing away. Just another day in the “chemo office”.….You can sooo tell the pros from the rookies!
Part of my will to fight is that I truly view and treat this disease as an enemy, an invader in my body…..the body I’ve had forever, and at times abused, but my mine just the same. Sometimes I'll walk
around and talk to a few of the more "chemo weary" patients and
I'll say "you have to fight to get your body back!……the drugs and diet are good weapons but it's your Mind that's going to win this war!.....or you're gonna find yourself on the wrong side of some Daisies before you want to be”…..I’ve said before…it’s a Bleeping virus!!.......What does the Navy flag say? “Don’t Tread on Me!"
